Brian W. Throckmorton earned his Engineering degree from Shawnee State University and worked as a Production Engineer in the automotive industry where his 20+ year career took him from Staff Engineer to Senior Engineer in Purchasing Supplier Development for a Tier 1 supplier to Honda. With an interest in finance, Brian earned licensing in Securities, Insurance, and Mortgage Loan Origination in 2008. In 2010 Brian joined a start up company with a focus in real estate acquisition, specifically for distressed value-add properties. Brian left his Engineering position and began growing a real estate portfolio from just a few single family homes in 2010 to over 400 doors with a mix of single family, multi-family, office and retail space. By 2015 Brian was instrumental in growing the portfolio value to over $30,000,000. As COO, Brian oversaw and ran all rental and leasing operations, unit turns, maintenance and repairs and other property management operations. In 2015 Brian sold his interest in the company to partners and obtained his Ohio Real Estate Sales license, focusing on developing a system for efficient buy-fix-sell transactions in the Columbus market. In 2018 Brian formed Remedy Express LLC, a just-in-time contracting company focused on real estate transactions and the home repairs needed during the sale of a home. In 2019, Gentry Custom Remodeling was created specifically to fill the need for high end home remodeling and room additions. In 2022, Gentry was recognized by Columbus Business First Fast 50 Top Companies as the #9 fastest growing company in Columbus.

In June of 2023, Brian joined his real estate broker as Director of Maintenance and Projects in a property management company consisting of a $100,000,000 portfolio for 71 investors (both local and out of state) comprised of over 350 residential, commercial, and retail properties. In July of 2025, Brian was moved to Chief Operations Officer.

Brian currently resides in Galena, Ohio.
